Dear EPU Alumni, Dear EPU Faculty Members, Could you please recommend this Full cholarship to those people who are interested in studying at the EPU. The deadline for application is 30 April 2006. A limited number of scholarships is offered by the Foreign Ministry for students from South Eastern Europe unable to finance themselves. Target group for this scholarships are students from Serbia-Montenegro (incl. Kosovo), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania and Moldavia.
The financial support covers tuition, accommodation,
meals and medical insurance for one person (no
dependants.); travel expenses are not included.
These scholarships can be granted for one semester
only and cannot be prolonged.
In order to qualify for the scholarship, candidates
need to
- be nationals of the above stated countries
- have a suitable academic and/or professional background
- have a job and a several years of working experience
(working for the state or an NGO)
- attach an official document by the
employer stating that the applicant is employed by
them, he/she will be granted an official study leave
for the period of the semester, he/she will be
welcome to return to his/her job after the
completion of the semester, and describing in what
way the employer finds it useful
and beneficial for the institution/organization/company that the
applicant participates in a study program at the EPU
The application essay, to be submitted as part of
the required application materials, should also
contain a description of the reasons why the
applicant finds it important and useful for him/her
to join the academic program of the EPU, and in what
way the completed studies in the Certificate Program
are expected to be of mutual benefit both for the
applicant and his/her employer.
Applicants are requested to send their request for
financial support together with a copy of the EPU
application materials to the closest Embassy of
Austria, or to the closest Regional and Cooperation
Bureau of the Republic of Austria, as well.
Please note that due to the relatively short time
for correspondence with the admitted students before
the beginning of the semester, candidates need to be
reachable by fax or, better, by e-mail.
