    People wanted for an initial meeting
concerning culture & education,
 23-26 June   
    Dear colleagues,
    We – i.e. Peter Kratzer (coordinator for the
Vojvodina region of the
 Institute of Foreign Relations) and Annekatrin
Himmelreich (lecturer of the
 Robert Bosch Foundation in Dubrovnik) – are
planning an initial meeting of
 international multiplicators and their local
partners, concerning culture
 and education in the Balkan area.
    We are looking for active people to join us
in organizing and running
 this meeting.
 
    The provisional working title of the meeting
is
    “Initial meeting of people working in culture
and education of the Balkan
 area – analysis, critique, perspectives”
 
    We aim at discussing the international
engagement in the region, and our
 future collaboration. In addition we shall
consider how to structure the
 cooperation both among various international
multiplicators and with local
 partners.
 
    Subjects of the meeting:
    -      presentation of the various strategies
of the foreign countries
 concerning culture and education in the Balkan
area
    -      presentation of activities of the
participants and their
 institutions
    -      discussion about international
acitivities concerning culture and
 education in the Balkan area
    -      discussion about cooperation among
various international
 multiplicators
    -      discussion about cooperation among
international multiplicators
 and local partners
    -      discussion about perspectives
 
    The meeting will take place in Sarajevo from
23rd to 26th of June 2006.
    The event could become a preparation for a
far bigger meeting in autumn
 this year.
 
    We are looking forward to everybody joining
us in the initial meeting.
